Dylan Blake Gerardi, 18 of Ray City, was lost to us on March 4, 2019. He was born September 21, 2000 in Inverness, Florida. Dylan was a proven fighter from birth. From the lack of oxygen during labor due to complications, it had caused brain damage. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 4 months old. He was not suppose to walk, talk, or do most of the things a normal child was able to do. He did it all though to the best of his abilities. He started school when he was only 3 years old in Citrus County. He moved from Florida to Berrien county in October 2010. He went to Berrien county schools and set to graduate from high school in May 2019. He loved going to school and being around everyone. He was a member of F.B.L.A. and loved going to the competitions with them and then coming home to tell us about all of the places that he went out to eat while he was away. He was on the golf team from middle school into high school though he like to be involved with the high school football team when he could. He was looking forward to going to college to become a history teacher and being able to teach students. Dylan liked to be in charge and to be able to direct other people to what they need to be doing.Dylan was a golfer and was an avid Florida Gators fan! He wanted to be a history teacher, a husband, and a father. The number of children he always talked about having would have almost given him his own football team. He spoke so enthusiastically about those three things. He would give you the shirt off his back or try to help you any way he could to the best of his ability if he saw that you needed it.He was so funny, loving, and such an amazing soul. He had such an amazing energy and personality that affected anyone that got to meet him.
