Michael Dalton, age 61, of Tifton died Monday, November 4, 2019 at his home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village in Tifton, Georgia.
Mr. Dalton was born February 17, 1958 to Dorothy (Truesdale) Dalton in Xenia, Ohio where he grew up and graduated from culinary school. Later, he moved to Florida where he eventually retired as a corporate trainer for the Southeastern Burger King Franchise. He was an avid traveler; the many destinations he visited included England, Scotland, Alaska, China, Hong Kong, Australia, and the Panama Canal. He relocated to Tifton five years ago and, armed with a sense of volunteerism, found a home at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village and the Literacy Volunteers of Tifton -Tift County.
He is survived by his mother, Judith; siblings Gen, Laura, Brian, Elizabeth and Dennis; nephews Seth and Brett; nieces Stephanie and Samantha; and, extended family David, Joe, Kathleen, Courtney, Lydia, Don, Brian, Steve, and Ron.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s name to the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village or the Literacy Volunteers of Tifton -Tift County.
