William Jackson Lowe, Jr., 47, of Valdosta, GA passed away on August 5, 2019 at Tift Regional Hospital. He was born on February 4, 1972 to Sally Lowe and the late William Jackson Lowe, Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Comer, of Stanley, Virginia.
He was known for his dedicated work ethic, spending most of his life either as a logger, a truck driver, or a mobile home mover, his constant willingness to help any friend in need with everything from moving houses to fixing cars, and his adoration of driving his beloved wife and kids crazy with his teasing nature.
His favorite thing to do was spend as much time with his only grandchild, Nalla Prowell, 3 years old, as he could. He is definitely to blame for her being spoiled rotten.
He is survived by his mother, Sally Peavy, his wife of 30 years, Dana Lowe, his three children: William Jackson Lowe, III, 29, Jamie Lowe, 27, and Jonathan Matthew Lowe, 24, his only granddaughter, Nalla Prowell, 3, his brothers Howard Corbett, Eddie Corbett, and Joey Lowe, his sister Judy Nettleton, and his sisters-in-law Maria Corbett, Teresa Corbett, and Jennifer Turner Lowe, as well as many nieces and nephews.
His memorial service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church in Lake Park, GA on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00AM.
