Obituary
Audrey “Jean” Bridges, 82, of Ocilla, Georgia, passed away on January 22, 2023 at Dorminy Medical
Center in Fitzgerald following a brief illness. Jean was born on January 3, 1941 in Guin, Alabama to the
late William Leonard Willett and Fannie Mae (Webb) Willett. An avid lover of animals, Jean always had
her beloved dog, Chloe, by her side. She was a member of First Assembly of God and knew God as her
Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bridges; sister, Virginia Kennedy; and sister Ethelene
Smith. She leaves behind a sister, Loraine (Ray) Aque of Ocilla, Georgia; fifteen nieces and nephews;
several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, January 28 at Eldorado Baptist Church.
