Donald Dean Tidwell, age 80 of Berrien County Ga. died Tuesday February 23, 2021 at South Ga. Medical Center

Memorial Services will be 11:00am Saturday February 27, 2021 at The Reflection Chapel. CDC guidelines will be in place.

Don was born February 18, 1941 in Tift County Ga. to the late Jackson and Inez Stephenson Tidwell.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army, enjoyed fishing, college football and found great joy sharing time with his great grandchildren. He was a member and Deacon of Forest Hill Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Hilda Bennett Tidwell, two daughters, Vickie Tidwell and Tina Tidwell, four grandchildren, Sarah Carwein, Jodee Tidwell, Matthew Faulker and James “JT” Tidwell, five great grandchildren, his old dog, Patches and dear neighbors, Terry and Linda Benefield.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
