Frederick Joseph McGill was born on January 10, 1995 in Gnaden Huetten Hospital near his hometown
of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. Growing up surrounded by family and friends, he was loved by all, and was
known for being a comedian and the life of the party. He was always willing to help those in need, and
was a staunch defender of those that he cared about.
Sadly, though, in his mid-twenties Freddy was diagnosed with Stage Colon Cancer which quickly
metastasized. Though he was fighting for his life, Freddy continued to stay positive and help others
when able. In August of 2021, Freddy moved to Sycamore, Georgia with family to continue his medical
care.
On March 20, 2023, Freddy was admitted to Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia and,
surrounded by family, passed away shortly after at the age of 28. He is survived by his parents, Sean and
Doris (McGill), and his siblings Eric (Morley), Heather (DeMelo), and Harlee (Parmelee). He is also
survived by his nephews, Austin (Morley), Graison (Parmelee), and Severi (Parmelee) and his niece,
Taylor (Morley). We all feel blessed to have had Freddy in our lives, and though we will miss his, we take
consolation in the fact that he had his sister April waiting for him in heaven.
