Obituary
Mrs. Gertrude Baldwin Tierney entered into heavenly rest on April 14, 2023. She leaves behind an incredible legacy of love. Her steadfastness and dedication to the Lord will be remembered by all those who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held at First Church of the Nazarene in Hanahan, South Carolina on April 22, 2023 at 3pm.
Gertrude, the daughter of Johnnie and Daisy Baldwin, is preceded in death by both parents, her beloved husband, Howard E. Tierney, her son in love Stevie English, and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters Anna Harvill (Daren) and Stephanie English, her grandchildren: Stephanie Eggert (Chris), Daniel Harvill (Michelle), Amanda Floyd (Doug), Juanita English, Miranda English, and Tierney Hannula (Dustin); her great grandchildren Alyssa-Grace Eggert, Halyn Funderburk, Kaden Eggert, Jonah Eggert, Natalie Floyd, Dougie Floyd, Paisley Hannula, Destiny Blake, Cameron Harvill, Emerie Ackerman, Drake Hannula, Maxximus Blake, and Raegan Harvill, her sister in love Linda Baldwin, multiple nieces and nephews, and many who adopted her as their own.
