Gwen Cheryl Walker

Cheryl was born July 15, 1949 to the late Iverson and Estelle Walker.  She gained her angel wings on October 19, 2023.  She worked at the Dairy Queen in Sylvester, GA for many years.  She was a machine threader at Worth Textile.   After Worth Textile closed, she went to work at Hubbell Manufacturing Company in Moultrie, GA.  

where she retired from and moved in with her Mom.   She loved keeping

her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and great nephews.  She was like an extra Granny to them.

She was always trying to help the ones she loved.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her brothers-James Larry and Ronnie Iverson, and her sisters-Latrelle, Tammy and Karen Walker, June Freeman and Patricia Pantone.  Survivors includes her sisters Glenda McDermont of Hollister, Fl, Sharon Rita Patterson (Charlie) of Scooterville, Ga, Debbie Davis (Ronnie) of Norman Park, Ga, Pam Renfro (Glenn) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Brenda Sanders of Lafayette, Alabama.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
