Obituary

Kay Fender age 65 of Ray City died Wednesday September 13, 2023 surrounded by family.

Graveside Service will be 4:00 pm Saturday September 16, 2023 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Nashville) with Pastor Keith Wise officiating.

Kay was born September 3, 1958 in Valdosta to the late James E. and Edith Jewell Flythe. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed cooking, gospel music and loving her family.

Survivors include her children, Jason (Jamie) Fender, Stacy Nelson ( Keith Lewis) grandchildren, Cody Fender, Kendal Fender, Kaylee Nelson, Conner Howell, one great grandchild, Ellie McLendon, three brothers, Harry (Johnna) Flythe, Greg (Martha) Flythe and Richard Flythe and one sister Cathi (Charles) Griffin.

In addition to her parents Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Fender, two brothers, Wade and Kenneth and one sister, Sue.
