Obituary

Lisa Diana Abgott, age 67 passed away peacefully Thursday June 9, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.

Services will be 4:00 pm. Sunday June 12, 2022 at Morningside United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 3:30 until service time.

Lisa was born August 5, 1954 in Albany to Harmon Kirksey and Dorothy Pannell Kirksey. She was secretary at Morningside Church prior to her death, loved arts and crafts and owned a craft shop before committing her life to raising her two sons. Her favorite place was Destin, Fl. enjoying God’s creation. She was a member at Sherwood Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her two sons, David (Jill) Abgott and Adam (Melissa) Abgott, her mother, Dorothy P Kirksey, two sisters, Johanna (Franklin) Rash, and Barbara (John) Stewart, nephews, Jason (Leslie) Wilkes and Zachary Melton, one niece, Jessica (Dave) King and her faithful companions, Scruffy and Finn.   She was preceded in death by her father Harmon Kirksey
