My Brother by his sister, Joy Washburn

My brother, Robert Michael “Bobby” Hudson, passed away this morning at my sister’s home. He was in a lot of pain so I think he welcomed peace and freedom from uncontrollable pain.

He was the only boy in a houseful of 4 girls... plus he was the youngest, so to say he was spoiled rotten is an understatement. He always said I didn’t fight fair cause I would just lie down and start kicking. But hey... you gotta do what you gotta do.

He loved to fish, loved the river, loved animals (critters) and he loved The Miami Canes. He could build, he was a hard worker doing tree work and construction mostly.

He liked real country music tending towards the outlaw genre and southern rock - Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, among others.

He might have “occasionally” (cough, cough) emulated Willie Nelson, if you know what I mean. Yep, you guessed it ......he wore a bandanna on his head sometimes.

Loved football and NASCAR.. yeah he was pretty much a redneck from the panhandle Riviera, and right proud of it.

He had a big family with his wife Theresa who he is now joining on the other side. He loved his children, grands, and great grands with all his heart. I’m so glad they were there for him. And I want to thank my sisters Janet Merritt and Peggy Hudson Whittaker for being there with him and taking care of him.

I love you Bobby and I’m gonna miss you. ❤️
