Robert Pelham, age 69, passed away August 23, 2021, suddenly after battling COVID- 19. Due to the
current pandemic the family will not be having funeral services. The family will have a private memorial
service to spread his ashes later.
Bobby, as he was known by family and friends, was born on December 8, 1951, in Albany Georgia to the
late Daniel Thomas Pelham and Dessie Lee Dudley Pelham. Bobby is preceded in death by brother
Danny Pelham and his uncle “Papa Dude” Ramsey. Bobby loved God above all else and second his
beautiful wife, Maryanne, of 46 years. His love for the Lord fueled his passion for worshipping and
singing, which led him to travel different churches. He loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and
landscaping his gorgeous yard were some of his many hobbies. His most favorite saying was, “Keep off
my grass!” He was a retired truck driver. He was a devoted husband, father, uncle and grandfather who
will be profoundly missed.
Bobby Pelham is survived by his wife Maryanne Pelham, children Amy White, David Pelham (Katlyn),
Stephen Pelham (Kaitlan), Jonathan Pelham (Ashley); grandchildren, Taylor White, Alizabeth White,
Ethan White, Aubrey Pelham, Lorelei Pelham, Elena Pelham, Riley Pelham, Ella Pelham; his dear Aunt
Flora Ramsey (A.K.A Nana Bea), cousins Brenda Morris (Larry), Allen Ramsey (Julie), Mark Ramsey;
numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
