Obituary
Wesley Vernon Stringer, age 49 of Irwin County died Tuesday February 21, 2023 at his home.
Wesley was born December 17, 1973 in Tifton to Vernon Stringer and the late Patsy Singletary Stringer. He was a barber most of his life and enjoyed music and could play any stringed instrument. He also enjoyed the great outdoors and was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ocilla, GA.
Survivors include children Tyler (Shelby) Stringer, and Emily Stringer, grandchildren, John Tyler Stringer and Emma Saige Davis, his father Vernon Stringer, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wesley was preceded in death by his mother Pasty Singletary Stringer.
Celebration of life service will be 4pm Sunday February the 26th at Bethel Baptist Church with Revered Tommy Land officiating . Graveside services will follow at Iwrinville Cemetery with his uncle Reverend James Stinger officiating. Family will receive friends from 3 until service time at the church.
