Bobbie Levarne White

Bobbie Levarne White, age 89, passed away February 20th, 2025 with her children by her side. She was born on May 18, 1935 in Ten Mile, Tennessee to the late C E Nelson and Mary L. Nelson. In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband- Mr. Curtis H White. Survivors include her sister: Dot Runyan, Children: Rebecca Diane Donathan (Dean), Dean Rodney White, Cynthia W Wilcox (Bill), Grandchildren: Brandi Michelle Donathan, Tia Brook Dudley (Richard), Rodney Daniel White, Derek Allen White, Amy Leigh Hall (Deacon), Patrick Curtis O’Neal (Cassie), Ryan Timothy Porch (Hillary), Great Grandchildren: Christian Xavier Miranda, Aiden Donathan Miranda, Preston Lee White, Emily Kate White, McKenzie Leigh Brown, Taegen Ryleigh Brown, Trey Hall, Haley Hall, Abigail Grace O’Neal, Wrenley Claire O’Neal, and a host of nieces and nephews. She spent her life being a devoted wife, mother, friend, and follower of Christ. She was a true family woman who had a heart of gold. She was a selfless woman who delighted in serving others. She was involved in her church, especially the women and girls groups, spending many years giving her time in ministry with the church Missionettes girls groups, volunteering at the church food bank, and using her quilting talent to make blankets with the women’s church group for babies and families in need. There is no telling how many quilts she made- as she crafted many through church and for herself, family, and friends. Her church family meant the world to her. Outside of church- you could find Bobbie enjoying the fresh air and the outdoors, whether it be fishing, gardening, working with her flowers, or just enjoying the sunshine. Most importantly- she made sure to make precious time with the ones she loved most- her beautiful family. She was the center of her family and loved them deeply- leaving a lasting imprint on their lives. Her famous words “Love you more” will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Bobbie was one of a kind, a true light in this world, who just wanted to help others- expecting nothing in return. The world is a better place because she was in it. In lieu of flowers- the family request donations be made to Hospice of South Georgia/Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, Georgia- 2263 Pineview Dr, Valdosta, GA 31602. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date- to be announced.
