Jennifer Rowe Morris

Jennifer Rowe Morris, 64, of Moultrie, Georgia, danced into heaven, Thursday, April 17th, 2025. She made the world a brighter place when she entered it on April 16, 1961 in Moultrie- born to the late Ralph Willis Rowe and Ms. Joyce Faye (Jordan) Rowe. Throughout her life- she never let that light go out- she was always, constantly, making the world a better place for others, even with just her presence alone. She was dedicated to her family- a loving mama, wife, daughter, sister, Nana, and friend. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband- Robert Morris, children- Jason (Cristin) Sellers, April (Jason) Sellars, Bill Morris (Haley Newman), grandchildren- Autumn (Lane) Wooldridge, Summer Ricks (Kyle Gardner), Shelton Morris, Jailey Sellers (Hunter Sears), Jayden Sellers, Gray Sellers, great granddaughter- Rawlins Wooldridge, brother- Craig (Stephnie) Rowe, Sister in law-Beth Esposito, special niece- Angie Perkins, friend and personal massage therapist- Victoria Sellers, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and close friends who Jennifer loved dearly. She is also survived by her precious granddogs- who Nana adored and treated as her own pups. When thinking of words to describe Jennifer, only good thoughts come to mind. She was pure, patient, caring, strong, God-fearing, and the mold of her family. She loved the Lord and trusted in him, having unwavering faith in all circumstances. You could count on her to have a positive attitude and to see the glass half full in any of life’s situations. Aside from being devoted to her family- she was also devoted to her job- being a teacher in the Colquitt County School System for over 30 years. Whether it was teaching, tutoring, or volunteering in any capacity- her patience was second to none and she had a true gift of encouraging others. An additional gift Nana had was that her sweet tea ranked number one out of all sweet teas. It did not matter where it came from, who made it, or how hard you try to make it like Nana’s- no one made sweet tea like hers. It was a fan favorite among all her family. Other family favorites include her meatloaf and homemade strawberry jelly- both were highly requested by everyone. In true Jennifer fashion- her wishes are simple. She prefers that we honor her life instead of being distressed. She will be cremated and there will be no funeral service. A memorial gathering for immediate family and friends will be held at a later date. Mama has asked that we delay the service until we can come together to celebrate her life, without sorrow. So, in her honor, when we feel like dancing, we will put on the cupid shuffle. We will hang on to all the good when the bad starts to creep in, we will drink sweet tea and wish it was yours, and we will celebrate you, as you deserve, once we can let go of our sorrow. Jennifer. Mama. Nana. You will be more than missed…. In your sweet voice- “Okie dokie, love ya”. The family would like to give a special thanks to Oncologist staff, 2nd floor and 3rd floor nurses and staff, and to special nurses Kelli Smith and Jade Porter, who took great care of Jennifer while she fought her battle.
