Larry Wyatt

Larry Wyatt of Moultrie, Ga. passed away peacefully at his residence on March 14, 2026 at 6:03 A.M. surrounded by his loving wife and close family members. The Lord called Larry home and those who knew him take comfort in knowing he is now walking the streets of gold with his Father John Wyatt and his brother Johnny Wyatt. Larry was born in Moultrie, Ga. on February 8, 1955 to John and Annie Wyatt. He was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord deeply. Larry found great joy in reading the Bible and sharing the gospel with others throughout his life. Larry was a devoted husband to his beloved wife , Diane Wyatt for 37 years. He was also a proud and loving bonus father to Cindy Reddock and Sharon Hall. Larry cherished his family and especially loved spending time with his bonus grand children, Trinity, Zackary, Ethan, all of whom he adored dearly. Larry was known as a family man who was loved by everyone who knew him. He enjoyed simple pleasures in life such as fishing, going to Ollies, spending time with his wife and family and studying God’s word. Larry also had a very strong work ethic and a dedicated 56 years to a career in grocery retail. The last 10 years of his career were spent at Piggly Wiggly in Moultrie Ga. Larry truly valued the friendships he made there and loved all of his friends but he a very special bond with Carl Wisenbaker whom he proudly called his best friend. He was preceded in death by his father John Wyatt, and his brother Johnny Wyatt. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Diane Wyatt (70) , of Moultrie, Ga., his mother Annie Wyatt (Ray), age 91, of Tifton, Ga., his brother Danny (Dorothy) Wyatt, age 69 of Tifton, Ga., Teresa Gottfried, 66 of Tifton, Ga.; along with his step children- Cindy (Dylan) Reddock, Sharon (Sam) Hall and his bonus grand- children Trinity and Zackary Reddock and Ethan Hall. Larry helped raise his Nephew Michael Price (51) of Tifton, Ga. two nieces, Jessica Loveless,(46) of Tifton, Ga. and Stephanie Fender (48) of Tifton, Ga, and they will always have a special part in his heart. He also has many great Nephews and Nieces who loved him dearly. Larry’s life was a testament to Faith, Love and Devotion to family, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith –2 Timothy 4:7 Larry's service will be held Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 1 pm in the Chapel of Reflection at 106 E. 12th St. in Tifton, Ga. with Pastor Eugene Strickland officiating .
