Sandra Kay Guenette

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved *Sandra Kay Guenette*, who entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on *July 14, 2026*, after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest. Sandra passed away doing something that brought her so much joy—scratching lottery tickets. She always laughed and told everyone, *"If I ever win big, I'm going to have a heart attack."* While she did not win the big jackpot that day, she did win some money, and anyone who knew Sandra knows she would have smiled about that. It was a fitting reminder of the simple things in life that brought her happiness. Before Sandra ever scratched a lottery ticket, she would always stop and pray. She would talk to Jesus about everything on her heart—her worries, her family, her hopes, her dreams, and the problems she carried. Then she would smile and begin scratching. Sometimes she won and sometimes she lost, but she always knew she was blessed because she had her faith. Whenever she won big money on scratch-off tickets, she carried a tiny Jesus figure with her. With the biggest smile on her face, she would tap her pocket and proudly say, *"I got Jesus in my pocket."* That little saying became one of the many memories that made Sandra unforgettable. Sandra was the definition of unconditional love. She had the sweetest soul and the biggest heart. If someone needed help, she would gladly give them the shirt off her back or the last dollar in her pocket. She might make you work for it first and give you a little trouble, but she would still give because that was simply who she was. Her kindness, generosity, and love had no limits. Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. Sandra loved the Lord deeply and made sure she was always praying. She believed there was nothing too big or too small to bring before God, and she carried her faith with her through every season of life. Sandra shared a beautiful life with the love of her life, *Danny Goslin*. Although they were never legally married, everyone who knew them knew they were husband and wife in every way that mattered. She loved fussing at Danny over the little things, and he lovingly listened, smiled, and did whatever he could for her. Their relationship was built on laughter, patience, unconditional love, and unwavering devotion. Sandra dearly loved her family, especially her siblings. She shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories with *Lloyd Krumm and his wife, Melba Krumm; Stan Krumm and his wife, Donna Krumm; Keith "Cracker" Krumm; and David Crowl and Janet Crowl*.Family meant everything to Sandra, and the memories they created together will forever be treasured. Sandra was a devoted mother to *Tabatha "Boo" Jones* and son-in-law *Brian Jones*, and *Faith "Peanut" Southers* and future son-in-law *Anthony Gutierrez*. She also loved her stepchildren, *Bobby Southers* and *Kelly Southers*. Sandra never measured her family by blood—she measured it by love. She opened her heart and proudly loved many others as her own children, including *Ebony Joyner, Jeffrey Joyner, Doris Campbell, and Montavious "Tae" Todd*. If Sandra loved you, you were family. Being *Nana* was one of Sandra's greatest joys. She loved all of her grandchildren with her whole heart, and they brought her endless happiness. She adored *Braxton ("Punkin Doodle")*, *William ("Sneaky Pete")*, *CJ*, *Journie*,*Little Jeffrey*, *Yves Jeremiah,* Nova, *Payson*, and *Parker*. Although she did not get to spend as much time with Payson and Parker as she wished, they were always loved, remembered, and kept in her prayers. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and everyone knew they sometimes even topped over the kids when it came to stealing Nana's heart. Every one of them held a special place in her heart. Sandra also had a special love for her dogs, who were more than pets—they were family. She is now reunited with her beloved *Lilo Marie*, who passed before her, and leaves behind *Peaches ("Peachy Peach")*, *Lily May*, and *Chippy Girl*, who were loved and spoiled every single day. Sandra found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved a cold glass of *sweet tea*, scratching lottery tickets, spending time with family, laughing, and making memories with the people she loved. She loved playing her *Super Nintendo* and *Monopoly GO*, always enjoying the fun and excitement they brought. Sandra's favorite time of the year was *Christmas*. She absolutely loved everything about the Christmas season—the beautiful decorations, sparkling lights, Christmas trees, and the joy and spirit that filled the air. Seeing Christmas lights brought a smile to her face, and she cherished the love, warmth, and togetherness that Christmas brought to everyone. Her favorite flower was the *lilac*, and her favorite color was *lilac purple*, a color that perfectly reflected the gentle, beautiful, and loving spirit she carried throughout her life. Sandra had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She never met a stranger because, before long, they became family. Her home was filled with love, laughter, kindness, and prayer, and everyone who knew her was better because of it. Sandra leaves behind countless family members, friends, neighbors, and loved ones whose lives were forever changed by her kindness, generosity, humor, faith, and unconditional love. Although our hearts are broken, we find peace knowing she is now with the Lord she loved so dearly. There are simply not enough words to describe the incredible woman Sandra was or the countless memories she leaves behind. She taught us to love without limits, to pray through every storm, to help others whenever we could, to laugh often, and to cherish every moment with the people we love. There will never be another *Sandra Kay Guenette*. Every time we see a scratch-off ticket, enjoy a glass of sweet tea, play Monopoly GO, dust off a Super Nintendo, admire Christmas lights, see a blooming lilac, wear the color purple, or whisper a prayer to Jesus, we will think of Sandra. We will remember her beautiful smile, her giving heart, her unwavering faith, and hear her joyful voice saying, *"I got Jesus in my pocket."* Though she may no longer walk beside us, her love will forever live on in the hearts of everyone blessed enough to know her. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sandra's beautiful life on *Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM* at: *Reflection Cremation & Funeral Services* in Tifton, GA. In honor of Sandra's loving and joyful spirit, the family asks that everyone *dress comfortably*. Her favorite color was *lilac purple*, and *if possible, please wear purple* in her memory. Sandra would want everyone comfortable, smiling, sharing stories, laughing, hugging one another, and celebrating the wonderful memories she leaves behind. She would not want sadness to be the only thing remembered—she would want everyone to remember the love, laughter, faith, and joy she shared so freely. *"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23* *Forever loved.
