Mr. Tarlochan Singh

Mr. Tarlochan Singh, age 80 of Tifton, Ga. USA passed away peacefully Friday January 9, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. Proceeded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Gian Kaur he is survived by two sons, Joe Singh of Tifton and Pali Singh of Tifton, one daughter, Sarabjit Kaur Mehmi (Rajvinder Kumar) of Italy, two daughters in love, Bobbie Grimes Singh of Tifton and Meenu Singh of Tifton, seven grandchildren, Sanjeev Kumar(Suman Kaur) of Italy Tamna Kaur (Harmit Singh) of Italy, Raj Singh, Arjun Singh, Ava Singh , Mason Singh and Giani Singh all of Tifton. Mr. Singh was born in Punjab India. He started a family and served in the Indian Army for 20 years. After retiring from the army he served as a senior technician at television station, Dhur Dashun Kinder in Jalandhar for 20 years. After retiring he had one desire. For him and his wife to join his sons in America. He came for his first visit in 2005 to welcome his grandson (Raj) and eventually became a United States Citizen in 2022. While Mr. Singh loved his mother country, India. Becoming a USA citizen was a very proud moment for Mr. Singh. Mr. Singh was a simple yet passionate man. He lived for his family. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. In the past 3 years he enjoyed two grandchildren’s weddings in India and one grandson graduating high school and the birth of his latest granddaughter, Gia. He could not be prouder of all of them. Rain or shine you could find Mr. Singh riding his motor scooter on his family’s farm, feeding and watering the livestock, picking up pecans and caring for his beloved chickens. Once inside he would spend his evenings with his coin collection. In his words he was just passing time. Mr. Singh had a very blessed and fulfilling life. Services will be 3:30 Sunday January 11, 2026 at Independent Worship Center with Pastor Tim Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Ty Ty Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receiver friends from 3:00 pm until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Joe Singh, Pali Singh, Raj Singh, Arjun Singh, Rajivinder Kumar, and Wade Williamson. Honorary pallbearer will be Cody Williamson
